We are delighted to be able to bring You're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat to the Ritzy Cinema. It feels fitting that London's Best Quiz for Movie Buffs is now given a home by one of London's prestigious cinemas.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The cinema started life as the Electric Pavilion, built in 1910 and opened in 1911, making it one of England's first purpose-built cinemas. Surviving closure and threats of demolition, the cinema was eventually renovated in 1994, turning it into a four-screen cinema with bar and café.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In 2009, the cinema was further expanded to include a dedicated bar and entertainment venue - Upstairs at the Ritzy - which is where you will find us once a month forYou're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat.
